PERNILLE KROG MOGENSEN
Now residing in Berlin, Pernille Krog Mogensen has been a fixed and solid part of the Danish electronic music scene for the past few years. As head of Strøm’s booking group, Pernille has had a heavy impact on the cultural out- and input of the Danish capital, and since she started working with events in 2005, she has been a huge support of the Danish underground scene for electronic music. Other than Strøm, Pernille is also working with Danish Trailerpark Festival and Clique Bookings.
THOMAS KNAK
As an electronic musician, producer, DJ and label boss, Thomas Knak has been almost everywhere. Under the alias Opiate, he released his first solo album ‘Object from an Ideal Home’ in 1999 and has been working ever since with artists such as Bomb The Bass, Alva Noto and Icelandic superstar Björk. He has also been a part of several electronic projects such as Future 3 and System with Anders Remmer and Jesper Skaaning and is ordinarily working as the head of the Copenhagen Label Hobby Industries.
ROSA LUX
Producer and DJ Rosa Lux got her name from the German-Polish socialist activist Rosa Luxemburg and is now an established part of the Copenhagen club scene. She has already had her own nightclub, been a part of the controversial queer collective Dunst, and DJ’ing since 2002, playing an eclectic mix of tech house, techno, deep house and balearic. This mixture has recently transcended into her debut album ‘Monster’, which features the dreamy and seductive first single ‘Ven Igen’.
LINUS ELLESØE
Since 1987, Linus Ellesøe has been a part of the Copenhagen underground, working with everything from graffiti documentation, activism, football, culture, and above all – music. Currently, Linus is working as one half of the dubstep sound system Wobble Squad, while making music with fellow producer BIZ under the name Bass Down Low. He is also running the label and club event Wobble Trouble, which over the years has presented countless of international artists to the Copenhagen nightlife.
GEORG RASMUSSEN
For more than 15 years, Georg Rasmussen has been working with concert and club events throughout Copenhagen. Together with DJ Schack, he started the infamous Wednesday club Mid Week Brakes in 2001 and has since been booker at Copenhagen venues such as Rust and Vega. He now runs the Copenhagen-based event firm HLR in collaboration with Ronnie Hansen and Hannah Loeffler and has recently hosted great parties with artists like Skream & Benga, Digital Mystikz, Shy Fx and Diplo & L-Vis.
RASMUS SCHACK
Rasmus Schack has been in the forefront of the Danish clubbing and hip-hop scene, running legendary clubs like Mid Week Brakes every week in 6 years. Initiated with Georg Rasmussen, Mid Week Brakes was one of the most successful Wednesday clubs ever in Denmark bringing in massive hip-hop acts and flavours of the world. Schack has held many residencies at top venues and done music compilations, mixtapes and album production. In 2009 he won The Urban DJ of the Year at the Danish DJ Awards.
