Workshops and Master Classes

For the very first time Strøm introduces workshops and master classes centered around different aspects of electronic music. Reflecting both lectures in the history of electronic music and methods of producing and refining music, the master classes and workshops aims to bring you behind the creative processes of the production of electronic music in all its forms.

All master classes and workshops are free to participate in and are presented in collaboration with Strøm, Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA), KODA and Culture Box.

 

MONDAY, AUGUST 15th:

MASTER CLASS: BJØRN SVIN, TROELS ABRAHAMSEN & TOMAS BARFOD
In two master classes and in the company of three of Denmark’s finest producers, Bjørn Svin, Troels Abrahamsen and Tomas Barfod, Strøm starts this year’s master classes focusing on how to compose and distribute electronic music, and the importance of artist collaborations and live performances. WORKSHOP: MUSIC PRODUCTION #1
Strøm presents the first of three afternoons of electronic music production workshops with talks, hands-on experience and interactive tutorials, hosted by world-renowned, London-based producer and remixer Tony Nwachukwu. Read more.

MASTER CLASS: CAN I SAMPLE THIS?
Focusing on the use of samples in electronic music, KODA hosts a master class on copyright and related issues, followed by a master class by world-renowned London-based producer and remixer Tony Nwachukwu. Read more.
